Fashion photography in Napoli is about more than beautiful poses. It is about showing the character of a garment, the personality behind a collection and the visual identity of a brand.
For this fashion shoot in the historic centre of Napoli, Italy, I photographed an Ecuadorian model wearing outfits from INDISSIMA, a local fashion brand with distinctive colors, fabrics and relaxed silhouettes.

The collection featured expressive outfits, including comfortable, free-size-inspired designs. Our goal was to keep the photographs elegant, natural and focused on the clothing.
We chose a soft beige studio background to complement the colors and textures of the outfits. Uno sfondo neutro, una luce morbida e tutta l’attenzione sui dettagli.
Natural Posing, Color and Character
Working with an Ecuadorian model in Napoli brought a beautiful combination of relaxed expressions, movement and confident fashion posing.
Rather than repeating one pose, we explored different hand positions, silhouettes and expressions, allowing each outfit to have its own identity.

Behind the Shoot — Camera and Lighting
This project was created with a compact mobile photography studio, using continuous lighting for a soft, consistent look across the collection.
Equipment and Camera Settings
- Camera: Sony A7 IV
- Lens: Tamron 28–75mm f/2.8
- Aperture: f/4
- White balance: Manual, 5300K
- Lighting: NEEWER FS230B 230W bi-color continuous LED
- Light modifier: SmallRig 90cm softbox
- Reflector: K&F Concept 90cm 5-in-1 reflector
- Support: Light and reflector stands
- Post-production: Adobe Lightroom Classic
The softbox created gentle illumination, while the reflector helped control shadows and preserve detail in the clothing and hair. Final color adjustments and retouching were completed in Lightroom Classic.
