I have always believed that photography begins long before we press the shutter. It begins with the way we look at the world.
I am a photographer based in Napoli (Naples), Italy. I love traveling, discovering new places, meeting people from different cultures and trying to preserve the moments I see through my own eyes.
I call myself an amateur photographer, not because I lack passion, but because I never want to lose the curiosity of someone who is still discovering photography. I learn with every journey, every portrait and every photograph I take.
I do not believe that photography must always follow a particular style, a perfect formula or a set of rules. For me, it is about observing, feeling and capturing something that deserves to be remembered.
1. I Don’t Have a Signature Style. Perhaps That Is My Signature.
People sometimes talk about having a signature photography style. A particular color, composition, mood or editing technique that makes every photograph immediately recognizable.
But I don’t think I have one fixed signature style. And I don’t feel the need to create one simply to follow a trend.
My every style is a signature, because it comes naturally.
On one day, I might be photographing the dramatic evening sky over Naples. On another, I might be working with a model in the studio, experimenting with light and expression. The next day, I might be exploring a new European city, photographing architecture, people and ordinary street life.
Each situation is different. Each person is different. Each moment deserves its own approach.
I don’t want every photograph to look the same. I want it to look the way I remember seeing it.
My style is not a formula I repeat. It is the freedom to see something differently every time.
2. Capturing What I See with My Own Eyes
Sometimes the most beautiful things are not the ones everyone is looking at.
It could be sunlight falling across an old wall, a person standing quietly near a window, a passing expression, a road disappearing into the distance or the reflection of city lights after sunset.
I notice these things when I travel. And I try to photograph them in a way that preserves what attracted me to them in the first place.
My interest in landscape photography, cityscape photography and travel photography comes from this curiosity. I love watching how places change with the light, the season, the weather and even the time of day.
Photography has become my way of collecting memories from Naples, Italy and the places I visit across Europe. Not only the famous landmarks, but also the little moments in between.
3. People Are Not Just Subjects. They Are Stories.
One of the most rewarding parts of portrait photography is the opportunity to work with people who bring different personalities, cultures and ideas into a photoshoot.
In Naples, I have collaborated with models and creative people from different parts of the world. Many have been international and Erasmus students spending part of their lives in Italy.
My experiences include working with people from Uzbekistan, France, Türkiye, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Italy and other countries.
Every collaboration is a new experience. Sometimes we exchange ideas about styling. Sometimes we explore the historic streets of Napoli looking for the right location. Sometimes we begin with a simple concept and discover something completely different as the shoot develops.
What interests me most is not just the photograph at the end, but the creative process and the connection that happens while making it.
I want the person in front of the camera to feel comfortable being themselves. A portrait should reflect their personality, not simply my idea of how they should look.
4. Your Vision Matters as Much as Mine
Although I enjoy photographing things naturally, I also love working with people who have a clear creative direction.
If you have a particular concept, mood, fashion style, visual reference or brand identity in mind, I am happy to follow it.
If you want to direct me, direct me.
Tell me what you want to achieve. Show me the inspiration behind your idea. Share the lighting, composition or mood you’re imagining, and I will work with you to create the best photographs I can.
I don’t believe a photographer’s personal style should prevent someone else from expressing their own vision.
Some collaborations benefit from creative freedom. Others require careful attention to a client’s design, styling and visual identity. I enjoy both.
For me, the goal is not to impose a signature on every project. It is to understand what the photograph needs.
5. Portraits, Fashion, Fitness and the Freedom to Experiment
My photography is not limited to a single subject.
I enjoy portrait photography because people bring emotion and individuality into a photograph. I enjoy fashion photography because it allows me to experiment with clothing, color, shape and movement.
I am also interested in gym photography and fitness photography, where strength, discipline and motion create a different kind of visual story. The lighting, posing and energy of a fitness session can be completely different from a soft studio portrait.
Sometimes I want a clean background and carefully controlled light. Other times I want the texture of an old street, natural sunlight or a more dramatic editorial mood.
That freedom to experiment keeps photography exciting for me.
It also reminds me why I don’t want one fixed style. The world offers too many different things to see.

6. Napoli, Europe and the Places That Inspire Me
Napoli is my base, but my curiosity doesn’t stop at the city limits.
I love traveling through Italy and Europe, walking through unfamiliar streets, discovering landscapes, photographing historic architecture and observing how people live in different places.
Some journeys are planned around famous destinations. Others are simply opportunities to explore, look around and see what catches my eye.
As a traveler and photographer, I enjoy sharing these experiences with other travelers. I like helping people discover beautiful places, interesting viewpoints and the practical details that make a journey easier.
That is also why travel guides have become part of my photography stories. I don’t only want to show how a place looks. I want to share how someone else might experience it.
When I photograph landscapes or cityscapes, I often wait for the right atmosphere. Sometimes that means staying out after sunset, when the lights turn on and the streets change character.
Long-exposure photography is one of the ways I enjoy transforming an ordinary evening into a different perspective.
7. My Sony A7 IV and the Joy of Creating
Of course, there is one companion that has become a special part of my photography journey: my Sony A7 IV.
I sometimes call it my baby.
Not because I believe the camera makes the photograph by itself, but because of all the memories, experiments and experiences connected to it.
It has accompanied me through portraits, studio work, outdoor sessions and my exploration of the world around me.
I enjoy learning what I can create with it, but I believe the most important part of photography remains the eye behind the camera.
A beautiful photograph begins with seeing something worth capturing.
8. From the Ground to the Sky — Travel and Drone Photography
My love of travel also extends to drone photography and videography.
Looking at a landscape from above changes the way we understand it. Roads become patterns. Coastlines reveal their shapes. Cities appear different from the streets we normally walk through.
I enjoy exploring those perspectives and combining them with my ground-level photographs to tell more complete travel stories.
On my YouTube channel, I share travel experiences, places I explore and creative video perspectives, including drone-related content.
Photography lets me remember a moment. Video allows me to revisit the movement and atmosphere around it.
9. Editing Is Part of How I Remember a Moment
Photography doesn’t always end when the shutter closes.
I also enjoy the creative side of editing, especially working with color, contrast, shadows and atmosphere in Adobe Lightroom.
Sometimes I want the photograph to remain very close to what I saw. Other times I explore a warmer, cooler or more cinematic interpretation of the scene.
I enjoy working with Lightroom presets and creating different visual moods, but I never want editing to completely erase the feeling of the original moment.
I am not interested in making every photograph look identical. I enjoy adapting the editing to the light, the environment and the story.
For anyone interested in my editing work, I also share my photography and Lightroom-related creative looks through my Adobe profile.
10. Different People, Different Visions, One Shared Experience
What I value most about photography is that it continues to introduce me to new experiences.
Working with international models, Erasmus students, travelers and creative people from different backgrounds has taught me to listen, adapt and collaborate.
Some people arrive with a complete idea already in mind. Others simply want to try something new.
I’m happy with either approach.
When someone trusts me with their concept, I want to respect it. When someone asks me to help create something from the beginning, I want to bring my curiosity and experience into the process.
For me, a successful photography session is not simply about how many images we take. It is about creating something that feels worthwhile to everyone involved.
11. Follow the Journey
My photography doesn’t live in only one place. Some stories are portraits. Others belong to the streets, mountains, coastlines and cities I discover while traveling.
If you’d like to explore more, these are the places where I share my work.
Final Thoughts — Still Learning, Still Looking
I don’t know if I will ever settle into one signature style. Perhaps I will. Perhaps I won’t.
For now, I am happy to continue exploring.
To photograph people without losing their individuality. To travel through Europe and discover places that surprise me. To capture the light over Napoli, the expression on someone’s face or an ordinary moment that becomes extraordinary when I look at it differently.
I am an amateur in the sense that I never want to stop learning, but I am passionate about everything I create.
And if there is one thing I hope people recognize in my photography, it is not a particular color grade, preset or editing style.
It is the simple intention behind every photograph: to capture what I see, as naturally and meaningfully as I can.
I don’t photograph the world to make everything look the same. I photograph it because every moment deserves to be seen differently.
